To prepare for an intuitive reading, choose a format that suits you, set a simple intention, and check what the service includes. If your reading uses numbered questions, write a focused list and keep a copy. You do not need to share private details beyond what the service requires.
Choose your format first
TheEmpath offers recorded Angel Card, Dowsing, and Combined readings, as well as a separate Private Live Reading. The recorded services include a personal video keepsake and do not require an appointment. A live session is a different experience, with a time personally agreed with Erin. Checkout does not confirm an appointment.
Start with the reading comparison, then read the individual service page. Check the current price in CAD, included scope, optional extras, and public availability. Online payment is still being prepared, so contact Erin if you need to clarify the next step.
Set an intention you can explain simply
An intention can be a topic you would like to reflect on or a question you want to approach with care. You do not need a dramatic story or a specific emotional state. A sentence such as “I would like to reflect on how I approach change” is enough to begin your own preparation.
Prepare clear numbered questions when relevant
Dowsing and Combined include eight base questions. Their service pages describe the optional five-question packs. Keep one idea in each question, number the list, and retain the same order so you can connect your questions with the recorded responses.
The Question Inspiration Guide offers 19 themes. Use them as starting points for your own wording rather than a requirement to ask about every area of life.
Decide what you want to keep private
For the numbered Dowsing workflow, the wording may remain private. You may share it if you choose. Avoid putting information about someone else’s health, finances, or private circumstances into a general inquiry.
Keep any personal viewing link private too. The current service terms explain that an unlisted video link may be viewed or shared by anyone who has it. If you have a privacy question, ask before arranging a service.
Keep your expectations clear
A reading is a spiritual and interpretive experience. It does not establish facts about another person or replace healthcare, professional advice, or your judgment. You do not need to accept a message or make an immediate decision.
Leave time afterward
Write down what you found useful, what you are unsure about, and any practical information you still need. Revisit those notes at your own pace. For the actual preparation and delivery steps, read How It Works and the service terms. Keep account and purchased-reading questions within the existing My Readings support workflow.
