Information used for your purchase
WordPress and WooCommerce store your account, billing and order information, purchased service options, service preparation status, availability requests, time zones, confirmed appointments and viewing-access details. Question wording can remain private; this checkout does not ask you to submit it.
Payments
WooPayments and PayPal are our selected payment providers. Once connected, payment details are handled by the provider you choose at checkout and its payment services. TheEmpath does not ask you to send card details by email or enter them in service preparation messages.
Service delivery
Erin uses your order and scheduling information to prepare and fulfil your purchased service. Videos may be delivered through protected self-hosted access or YouTube. Self-hosted playback requires your purchasing account. Unlisted YouTube links can be watched or shared by anyone with the link; YouTube also processes viewing information under its own privacy policy. Video access is guaranteed for at least six months from delivery and may remain available longer, with no automatic expiry.
Cookies and email
WordPress uses login cookies and WooCommerce uses cart/session cookies to support accounts and checkout. WooCommerce sends order and account emails and customer notes needed for service fulfilment. Availability messages and private preparation content are not included in routine order email summaries.
Access and privacy requests
Contact hello@theempath.ca to request an export, correction or erasure of your personal information. Orders and payment records may need to be retained for business recordkeeping. Removing personal service information may end account access to the related service or video. Protected video files are reviewed separately for retention or deletion.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, email hello@theempath.ca.
Contact enquiries
When you use our contact form, we store your name, email address, selected topic and message privately in WordPress so Erin can review and respond. On the live site, an email notification is sent to our contact inbox; your email is used as the reply address. Messages remain available for review if a notification fails. Short-lived spam-prevention counters help limit repeated submissions. Contact enquiries are included in our personal-data export and erasure request process.
